Retrofit-ready FEFO

A product by AID-IOTAidFresh

Per-item freshness, from receiving to pick.

Every item gets its own scannable, tamper-proof shelf-life label — so picking follows First-Expiry-First-Out automatically. A retrofit layer over your warehouse. No rip-and-replace.

The problem

Shelf-life is invisible at the item level.

Warehouses write off stock they could have caught in time. Without item-level visibility, freshness is a guess — and recoverable inventory ends up as waste.

No per-item shelf-life

Stock is tracked by pallet or SKU, never by the individual unit that's actually about to expire.

Stale stock gets picked

Without FEFO at the bin, pickers grab whatever is nearest — older inventory keeps sinking to the back.

Manual paper receipts

Receipts are logged on paper. Timestamps are trusted on faith and easy to back-date.

Waste, no recovery

Expired stock is written off whole — yet roughly 48% was recoverable with earlier action.

How it works

One label. The whole journey, end to end.

From the moment a lot lands at receiving to the moment it's picked, marked down, or removed — every step is traceable and tamper-proof.

1

Receive

A lot lands at the dock and a receipt is raised against the supplier.

2

Seal & print

AidSeal prints a per-item label stamped with NavIC time + rolling code.

Stock

The item enters the racks — now individually traceable on the shelf.

4

Scan at bin

AidScan reads the label and shows remaining shelf-life instantly.

5

FEFO decision

Fresh is released first. Expired is blocked at the point of pick.

6

Remove / markdown

Blocked items routed to disposal; near-expiry sent to AI markdown.

AidSeal · the device

An embedded sealing unit at receiving.

Triggered from a phone or PC, AidSeal turns a receipt into a stream of individually-sealed, un-fakeable labels — one per item.

NavIC-synced trusted time

Every label is stamped with a timestamp drawn from the NavIC satellite system — a trusted clock that can't be quietly rolled back.

Per-supplier rolling code — tamper-proof

A rotating code per supplier, like MFA/OTP, means labels can't be forged or back-dated. AidCloud validates every one.

Prints on TVS thermal printer

Drives a TVS thermal-transfer printer to lay down a QR/barcode per item — GS1 AIs for SKU, batch/lot, mfg date and expiry. Phone or PC triggered.

AidCloud · architecture

A closed backend that snaps onto what you already run.

AidSeal, AidScan and AidLogger feed one AidCloud server — which links to your existing inventory system over an API. Standalone first; integrate when you're ready.

AidLogger · the device

Cold-chain temperature, the whole way.

A compact logger rides with the load and records temperature in transit — so freshness isn't only checked at the dock, but proven across the journey.

Continuous in-transit logging

Samples temperature on the move, not just at receiving — capturing every excursion along the way.

Relays to AidCloud via AidSeal

At receiving, AidLogger hands its readings to AidSeal, which sends them on to AidCloud — chained to the same NavIC-verified custody trail.

Excursion alerts

Any breach of the safe range is flagged, so affected stock is caught before it's ever sealed and shelved.
