AID-IOT-ERP App Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Inordinate Industrial Innovations Pvt Ltd (“AID-IoT”, “we”, “us” or “our”) collects, uses, shares, and protects personal information through the AID-IOT-ERP mobile application (packagecom.aid_iot.erp_mobile, the “App”). The App is a workforce and field-operations client for the AID-IoT ERP platform. It is provided to employees and staff of organisations that use the platform (“your organisation”); accounts are issued by your organisation and are not available to the general public. We handle your data in accordance with applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
For our website and online store, see our general Privacy Policy.
Information We Collect
Account information
Your name, work email address, employee identifier, and role, as set up by your organisation. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile picture from Google to identify your account. We do not receive your Google password.
Precise location
With your permission, the App collects your device’s precise location (GPS) when you check in or out for attendance and, where your organisation’s administrator has enabled field tracking for your account, at regular intervals (about every five minutes) while the App is in use. Location is used to record attendance, show field-job progress, and support field-team coordination. The App explains this and asks for your consent before requesting location permission. You can withdraw permission at any time in your device settings; attendance and tracking features that depend on location will then be unavailable.
Camera, photos, and files
The App uses your camera only when you choose to: to scan barcodes and QR codes on supplier labels and inventory items, to count items, or to photograph an expense receipt or item. Barcode, QR, and text recognition run on your device. Photos you choose to attach (for example expense receipts or item photos) and files you upload are sent to your organisation’s ERP. The App does not access your photo library, camera, or files in the background.
Business records you enter
Information you create or update in the App, such as attendance, leave and work-from-home requests, tasks, expenses, inventory updates, and business contacts, is stored in your organisation’s ERP.
Device and diagnostic information
Device model, operating system version, app version, network connection type, and a push-notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging) so we can deliver work notifications. We may also collect crash and error logs to diagnose problems. These are not used for advertising.
What We Do Not Collect
The App does not read your contacts, call logs, SMS, or other apps’ notifications. It does not contain advertising and does not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
How We Use Your Information
- To sign you in and keep your session secure;
- To provide the App’s features: attendance, field jobs, tasks, leave, expenses, inventory, and contacts;
- To send work-related notifications;
- To maintain, secure, and fix the App, and to prevent misuse;
- To comply with legal obligations.
How We Share Your Information
- Your organisation — authorised administrators and managers in your organisation can see the records you submit, including attendance and location data, for workforce management.
- Service providers — cloud hosting (including Amazon Web Services), Google Firebase (push notifications), and Google Sign-In, which process data on our behalf under their own security and privacy terms.
- Legal requirements — authorities or third parties where required by law or legal process, or to protect our rights.
We do not share your personal information with advertisers or data brokers.
Data Security
All data the App sends is encrypted in transit over HTTPS. Your sign-in session is stored in encrypted storage on your device and is excluded from device cloud backups. Access on our servers is restricted to authorised personnel. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we work to protect your data with reasonable technical and organisational measures.
Data Retention
We keep account and business records for as long as your organisation’s account is active and as needed for its legal, accounting, and audit obligations. Location records are kept for up to 12 months unless your organisation requires a shorter period or the law requires longer. Crash and diagnostic logs are kept for up to 90 days.
Your Rights and Deleting Your Data
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. Because your account is issued by your organisation, you can ask your organisation’s administrator, or email us at [email protected] with the subject “AID-IOT-ERP data deletion request” from your registered email address. We will verify your identity and act on the request within 30 days. Records that your organisation or the law requires us to keep (for example payroll or tax records) may be retained for the required period.
Uninstalling the App removes the data stored on your device.
Children’s Privacy
The App is intended for employees and adults only. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last revised. Significant changes will be notified in the App.
